Liberty Gig Insurance – Payment Policy

At Liberty Gig Insurance, transparency, security, and trust are at the heart of our services. As an escrow-based insurance company built for the freelance and gig economy, our payment policies are designed to protect both workers and employers throughout every transaction.

🔒 1. Upfront Payment is Required From Both Employer and Employee

To activate any insurance-backed escrow contract, we require full upfront payment from both parties:

Employers must fund their portion of the insured contract amount

Employees (or gig workers) must cover their escrow processing and insurance fees

This dual contribution ensures that:

Both sides are fully committed to the agreement

Funds are secured before any work begins

All parties are protected under Liberty Gig Insurance’s coverage terms

⚠️ No work is insured or processed until both payments are confirmed.

🛡️ 2. Insurance is Mandatory for Both Parties

Liberty Gig Insurance protects not just workers, but also employers. For this reason, we require insurance coverage for both parties involved in any gig agreement.

For workers, insurance ensures payment after successful task completion

For employers, it guarantees protection against non-performance or contract breach

Both must be insured to:

Activate the escrow

Enable dispute resolution

Qualify for payout protections

📅 3. Payment Deadlines & Grace Periods

All invoices related to escrow and insurance services come with a 7-day grace period. Failure to complete payment within this time may result in:

Suspension of escrow services

Delayed payouts

Loss of insurance coverage

We strongly encourage timely payments to avoid interruptions to your workflow or earnings.

💳 4. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following forms of payment:

Credit/Debit Cards

Bank Transfers

Mobile Money (in supported regions)

Employer-verified third-party payers

For large transactions, additional identity verification may be required.

🧾 5. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of escrow insurance services, payments are non-refundable once insurance has been activated and funds held. However, if a transaction is canceled before activation, a partial refund may be

considered under review.
